first line
If you're an author you'll know what I'm about to say...well, actually if you're a psychic author, you'll know what i'm about to say (except i don't 'believe' in psychics)
opening words
The opening words to any project are always deemed to be the most important - many people don't get past the first line, let alone the first blog/article/novel, whatever - it's a commonly accepted half-truth that you get one shot at attracting people to your work, so you'd better make damn sure that it's the best. With this in mind i've spent, well, too many days to be bothered to count, trying to set up my blog. I have had a few failures along the way - mainly caused by my complete lack of technical know-how, and the fact that i want to draw together all the blogs and sites I belong to - I figured that if this site was interesting to me, it'd be interesting to other people too - but hey, that's ego for you !
the real thing
So this is it, number one, numero uno, the first offering of flyingperonis to the world. well ok, that's not including the videos on youtube, i suppose they were the first offerings to the world. (and the photos on flickr and the daily tweets are a mere after-thought).
So this is it, the latest offering from flyingperonis to an unsuspecting public. Believe it or not, this is stream of consciousness stuff - yes, i didn't think about it at all.
It's only fair to tell you a few things about my interests so you're going to have a better idea of whether or not you want to come back and have a read on a more regular basis - so in no particular order here are some of my interests - i list these here because i would not be at all surprised if they become the subject of future blogs:
potential future blog topics
Travel and culture and art and books and women and thought and politics and people.
Experiences and food and photography and poetry and knowledge and society and myth.
Sport and poker and weather and fashion and sculpture and exercise and perceptions.
this is not a complete list
